Services and Care
We provide 24 hour nursing care, coordinated by our Care Plan Team.
Care is guided by the physician of the Resident's choice.  We provide
Registered Nurse coverage seven days per week, with licensed coverage on all
shifts. 

The Dining experience at La Plata Nursing Home proves to be a time for 
socialization and delicious meals . Our selective menus provide each Resident
with choices at every meal and snack time.  Special attention is always given
to ensure nutritional requirements.  Family members are welcome and
encouraged to dine with their loved one at any time.  Guest meals are $4.00. 

A soft serve ice cream machine is available at any time, and a snack area
stocked with sandwiches, fruit, drinks and goodies is easily accessible
to all residents. 

We provide a variety of group activities: exercise time, games,
social events, church services, and musical entertainment just to
name a few.  In-room activities and one on one time are also an
important part of our Activity plan.  Family, friends and volunteers
are welcome and encouraged to participate at all times.

Our Social Services Department is headed by a full-time
Social Services Designee.  We feel the Resident's psychosocial
well-being is important to maintain a healthy body, mind, and
spirit.

Maintenance, Laundry and Housekeeping work together to
provide our Residents with a clean and safe home.
